You’ve already made an impression on your peers by choosing to living in a top residential property in Bangalore. How about adding more quirk to it.

Hooks holders and hangers add to the décor of your luxurious apartment walls. These come handy to hang your keys, trinkets and accessories.

Here’s how to make unique hooks at home.

You need:

●   Old spoons, forks, old keys 3-4 pieces

●   Wood – 3-4 square blocks or a rectangular piece

●   Hooks/hangers (on the back of the wood to hang on your wall) 3-4

●   Paint for wood blocks – colour of your choice

●   Adhesive or nails and hammer to attach

Steps:

● Bending: Put utensils/keys in boiling water to soften the metal. Pick the hot utensils/keys out with pair of tongs. Bend them into hook shape with pliers or even tongs.

●    Paint the wooden blocks with 1-2 coats of acrylic paint each. You may even use 1-2 coats of varnish for natural look.

●    Position the utensils/keys on the wood blocks. Measure and mark the points where you want to fix the hooks. Now, one at a time put the spoon, fork and keys on the position. You may either stick them with strong adhesive or nail them with a hammer.

●    You need to attach hangers on the rear of the wooden blocks – to hang your utensil/key hooks on the wall. Either fix with the strong adhesive or nail and hammer.
